A Daughter’s Journey in Faith Podcast
A Daughter’s Journey in Faith is a quiet exploration of faith, scripture, and life through the sermons of a small-town minister.
After her father, Kim Wilson, passed away in 2024, Jennie began reading the sermons he wrote and delivered to a small church in Iowa. What began as a way to help the congregation continue hearing his messages soon became something more personal — an invitation to explore her own faith.
In each episode, Jennie reads the scripture and sermon her father wrote, followed by a short reflection on what stands out to her as she continues her own journey in faith.
This podcast isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about asking questions, noticing themes, and discovering what faith might look like in everyday life.
If you’re searching, curious, or simply looking for a few quiet minutes of reflection, you’re welcome to walk this journey too. Join me on Facebook at A Daughter's Journey in Faith page - facebook.com/ADaughtersJourneyInFaith

In this first episode of A Daughter’s Journey in Faith, I share the Easter sermon “He Lives” originally preached in 2009 by my father, Rev. Dr. Kim Wilson.
Through scripture from Psalm 118, 1 Corinthians 15, and John 20, the sermon reflects on the journey from repentance to the empty tomb, and the profound hope found in the words: He lives.
After reading the scripture and sermon, I share a few personal reflections as I begin exploring my own faith through my father’s words.
